Part Time and Casual Residential Youth Worker
Allambi Care are looking for professional & committed applicants to fill both Permanent Part-Time and Casual Residential Youth Worker positions in our residential placements in the Bayside and Southern Melbourne areas. We are looking for applicants who want to be directly involved in bringing about positive outcomes for our clients in a professional, team environment. We provide comprehensive training, mentoring and ongoing support.
Applicants for the part time positions must have an ability to perform shiftwork across a 7 week sliding roster.
Remuneration is paid at level 3.1 of the SCHADS award on successful completion of the mandatory qualifications.

At Allambi Care we offer 24 hour support for young people living in out of home care. The role involves providing direct care for service users in settings such as houses, schools, hospitals, community centres and emergency accommodation. As an employee of Allambi you have the chance to make a difference in the life of a young person in care.
Daily Tasks include:
The employee is required to hold or be undertaking, either:
• Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention; or
• a recognised relevant qualification (If you are unsure please ask)
In addition, all residential care workers must complete the three mandatory units of competency, being
Allambi Care are able to facilitate the applicant obtaining the mandatory units of competency within the first 3 months of employment if they have not been obtained prior to applying.
